Alien Xtalk solutions Vega 1028
The measuring system AESA VEGA 1028 is a high quality instrument with state-of-the-art measurement technology, that is fast, reliable and very accurate. It is supplied with a high end computer system. The tester can be equipped with a full range of software and hardware options to fulfil all possible customer requirements.
The VEGA 1028 has been especially developed to meet the rising demand of LAN cable manufacturers for cable testing in accordance with the latest European and American Standards for Category 5, 5E, 6, 6A, 7 and 7A cables. This applies not only to 4 pair cables but also to bundled cables of up to 28 pairs.
The latest Standards for bundled cables require "Alien" crosstalk parameters to be tested. These measurements are quite time consuming if they cannot be performed automatically, due to the high number of required test commutations as well as the terminations required for the pairs not under test.
The switching technology integrated by AESA in its new VEGA 1028 measuring system, which has already been proven over many years, brings an accurate, efficient and fast solution to the existing testing problems. Moreover, the flexibility of the latest generation software allows use of the connecting frames in the most improbable configurations.
- Simultaneous measurements on several cables
- Compliant to the latest industry Standards
- High measuring accuracy
- Very fast measurements
